BAGUIO
-- This year is a vibrant year for the Philippines, despite surveys
showed that many Filipinos complain that not much has changed in their
lives.
The increasing number of investors particularly in the outsourcing and
tourism industries would show that the country’s economy is
robust, said US Ambassador Kristie Kenney, in a party at the US
Ambassadors residence in Camp John Hay.
With a vibrant economy, Kenney said the US government would assist in
strengthening the trade development of Mindanao.
Kenney said members of the US Congress will be coming over to the
country next year, to see how far the US government has done in their
assistance programs.
